  • Dr. Khaliden Nas (he/they) is a writer & researcher with a PhD in Media and Culture Studies from the University of Sussex. My work explores the realities of queer subjectivity, identity, self-conception, otherness and the intersections of culture and identity - with a particular focus on the topics of Arabness and same-sex desire.

More broadly, my work is interested in (and engages with) the discourses of:

    Race & Ethnicity

    Sexuality

    Gender

    Media & Popular Culture

    Community & the Online

I also write (and write about) comics!
